AYLUS had another successful tutoring session at the Station Library during February 12th. Siwoo Song significantly improved a student’s Earth Science project by engaging in helpful, constructive critique and feedback upon her project. Xingzhi helped another student with biology and the intrigue of Mendel’s genetic models. Linzi delved deeply into chemistry and helped answer a series of research questions. Brain also worked on Chemistry with a separate participant especially within the confines of elements and fun facts. Finally, Ivy assisted in a participant’s quest of a higher math understanding with challenge questions regarding geometry. The entire session saw significant improvement within the majority of the participants skills and their bonds with their mentors. Each tutor was able to maximize their attention with a single student to achieve higher growth.
