On February 10th, AYLUS volunteers once again came together at the Great Neck Library Station Branch to support students across a variety of academic subjects. During the session, Siwoo Song worked one-on-one with a 4th-grade student on pre-algebra concepts, guiding the student through foundational problem-solving strategies. Jason and Brian collaborated to assist a student with Biology, reviewing key scientific concepts. Meanwhile, Summer and Ivy supported two 8th graders with Earth Science, explaining topics clearly and helping them review assignments and prepare for upcoming lessons. Furthermore, Linzi spent time assisting a student with Chemistry, providing guidance and encouragement while working through exercises together. Lastly, Junlin helped a student practice fractions and improve his ELA skills. Overall, the tutoring session served as a productive experience for both volunteers and students alike.
