AYLUS RC Band Performs at Major Lunar New Year Festivals Across Southern CaliforniaIn January and early February 2026, nine members of the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga (RC) Band proudly participated in a series of large-scale Lunar New Year celebrations across Southern California. This marked the band’s first time performing at community Lunar New Year festivals since its establishment.The band was invited to perform at three major events: January 18 in Rancho Cucamonga, January 25 in Riverside, and February 1 in Chino. At each festival, the AYLUS RC Band presented a one-hour program featuring nine carefully prepared performances.The program showcased the diverse talents of AYLUS members. Audiences enjoyed a wide range of performances, including violin, flute, and digital piano solos, vocal pieces, ensemble collaborations, and energetic rock band performances. The variety and quality of the program highlighted the creativity, dedication, and versatility that define AYLUS youth.Each event attracted large crowds, with a total audience of over ten thousand people across the three weekends. The band members felt honored to be part of such important community celebrations and were proud to share their music with so many families.In recognition of their outstanding performances and the many hours of rehearsal behind them, the event organizers presented the band with certificates of appreciation. This recognition was both encouraging and meaningful for all performers.The band would also like to express sincere gratitude to the parents who generously volunteered their time to help transport instruments and sound equipment. Their support played an essential role in the success of each performance.These performances served as a valuable milestone and a rewarding test of the band’s hard work, leaving all members with a strong sense of pride and accomplishment.
