AYLUS RC Branch Organize Community Clean-Up Along Bike Trail and Central Park 09/14/2025

On September 14, 2025, three members of AYLUS RC Branch volunteered their personal time to organize a community clean-up along the longest bike trail in Rancho Cucamonga and in the Central Park area.
The bike trail runs across the city and is one of the most popular fitness routes for local residents. Every day, many people come to ride and exercise. Because cyclists often carry bottled water, some empty plastic bottles and small trash items are occasionally left along the path, affecting the cleanliness and appearance of this well-loved public space. After noticing this issue, the three members decided to take action and help improve the environment.
Central Park is another major gathering place for the community. With its large open lawns, playgrounds, and walking areas, many families visit the park to relax, walk their dogs, or spend time with their children. As a result, litter can sometimes accumulate in these high-traffic areas.
During the activity, the volunteers walked more than 20,000 steps while collecting trash throughout the bike trail and park. Seeing these frequently used community spaces become cleaner through their efforts brought them a strong sense of pride and accomplishment, while also reflecting AYLUS’s commitment to community service and environmental responsibility.
