AYLUS RC Branch Host Selection Event Report
On November 29, 2025, AYLUS RC Branch organized a special selection event to recruit outstanding emcees for three major Lunar New Year festivals in the local Chinese community. Because the Branch was entrusted with full hosting responsibilities for these large-scale events, members were invited to participate in an open audition.
All candidates were required to demonstrate fluency in both English and Chinese, along with strong stage presence, confidence, and professional appearance. After a careful evaluation process, eight members were selected to serve as official hosts for the three festivals scheduled in January.
Although this will be the first time for all selected members to host large public stage events in the United States, each participant showed great enthusiasm, courage, and a willingness to step out of their comfort zone. Their dedication and positive attitude reflected the leadership and growth mindset that AYLUS encourages.
Each selected host will have the opportunity to emcee two festival events, gaining valuable public speaking and community engagement experience. In recognition of their effort and participation, all candidates who attended the selection event received three hours of verified volunteer service.
This event not only prepared a strong hosting team but also helped members build confidence, communication skills, and leadership through real-world experience.
