On August 28th, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at the East Cobb Library. A total of 1 student showed up, with 1 tutor to help the student.
The East Cobb Branch holds Youth Tutoring program during school days, giving kids in the Cobb area an opportunity to receive help with subjects in school, such as math, reading, and science. The program gives students a comfortable environment to ask for help in academics. Furthermore, the student is able to go over any concepts that they do not understand.
During the lesson, the tutor helped the student go over the quiz that the student had taken that week. The tutor went over the mistakes that the student made and helped the student not make the same mistakes again in the future. Furthermore, any concepts that the student was not familiar with, the tutor went over with the student.
