AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivers Food Pantry (111th) on January 2, 2026

On Friday, January 2, 2026, from 9am to 1pm, The AYLUS members of the Roslyn branch
volunteered at Nosh Deliver, a food pantry founded during 2020 to help people in need of food.
When working in the food pantries, we all asked the staff for directions and helped with jobs
that needed an extra hand. Some of us went to help with carrying heavy loads and cutting
boxes. Some of us went to help organize shelves. We were all doing our parts in the food
pantry.
We also all helped in a group effort to pack lunch bags for the kids, one person opened the
bags, another packed, then finally someone put the bags in boxes. We filled box after box with
these lunch bags for the kids. Our efficiency was all thanks to our collaboration.
In general, our contributions to the food pantry gave us a sense of fulfillment in helping our
community. The experience was one that taught us teamwork and many life values. we were all
happy to participate in.
