AYLUS Roslyn Volunteers at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County’s Group Home (63rd) on 12/20/25

On Saturday, December 20th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, three volunteers of ALYUS Roslyn visited CP Nassau’s Bellmore residential home. The afternoon began with baking brownies. Residents helped with mixing ingredients and pouring the batter into pans.

While the brownies baked, residents and volunteers worked on paper cutouts. Using markers and stickers, they added colors and designs to the cutouts.

After the brownies were ready, everyone enjoyed a snack together. The group then played bingo, followed by a few rounds of Uno.

The afternoon combined baking, crafts, and games, providing residents and volunteers with a calm and engaging time together. We look forward to our next visit and another opportunity to bring smiles to the residents of CP Nassau!
