San Diego Branch hosted a Holiday Food Drive from Dec, 2025

This holiday season, many of us will gather with friends and family to enjoy warm meals and the spirit of giving. But for thousands in our community, the holidays are a time of hunger and uncertainty.

Together, we can change that. Established in 1981, the Food Bank’s annual Holiday Food Drive brings in more than 2 million pounds of food, on average, every holiday season. It takes a community to feed a community.

Our AYLUS San Diego branch helped the San Diego Food Bank this holiday season to feed our neighbors in need. From Nov. 6 to Nov. 25, we collected a large barrel of food, including foods like cereal, oatmeal, instant noodles, instant Macaroni, as well as canned vegetables.

The following  AYLUS members participated in the event and each got 1 service hour:

Lauren Kan
Colin Xie
Jonathan Guo
Sophie Xie
Jikai Yu
Jiaxuan Yao
Kevin Chen
Melody Chen
Katherine Backues
