Event 99: Aylus Morris Branch Partners with United Methodist Church to Support Weekly Food Distribution in December 2025

Aylus Morris Branch proudly partnered with the local United Methodist Church to support community members in need through a canned food drive. With the generous support of local residents, the branch successfully collected 48 pounds of canned food, demonstrating the strong spirit of compassion and collaboration within the community. All donated items were carefully organized and delivered to the church’s food distribution center on December 20 at 2:00 PM, ensuring they were ready to be used immediately.

This contribution will play a meaningful role in the church’s weekly food distribution program, which provides essential groceries to approximately 60 to 80 families every week. For many households, this program offers not only nourishment but also reassurance and stability during challenging times. By working closely with the United Methodist Church, Aylus Morris Branch helped strengthen an existing support system that consistently serves local families with dignity and care.

The success of this initiative highlights the impact that community partnerships can have when individuals come together for a common cause. Every can donated represents a shared commitment to helping neighbors and addressing food insecurity at a local level. Aylus Morris Branch is grateful to all volunteers and donors who made this effort possible and remains dedicated to serving the community through ongoing outreach and service projects.
