On Nov. 29 2025, Murrieta members helped with Jacob’s House’s garden.
We ran out of fertilizer in the vegetable garden, so we went to Home Depot and bought two bags of chicken manure. Once in the garden, we checked on the vegetables. The first batch of lettuce, which was originally ready for harvest, had been extensively eaten by some unknown organism and could no longer grow; we plan to start new seedlings. The other lettuce plants were growing more slowly due to the recent rain and drop in temperature, but we continued to weed and fertilize them, hoping they would grow better.
