On Monday, Nov 24th, AYLUS volunteers, Catherine Tao, Ting Lan Chen, Jolynn Li, Xinran Wang, and Allison Shilagani join the accessible art program at Great Neck house, assisting the students in a painting project, one or two volunteers per student. This week, we painted, using puzzle pieces and stars to create silhouettes underneath the paint.
This week also happened to be the birthday of one of our beloved staff members and we celebrated together with mini cupcakes and cards. The students and volunteers had lots of fun painting and celebrating.
