On Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 members of Aylus volunteered at Nissequogue River State Park, King’s park greenhouse. From 9:30 am to 12pm the volunteers used various tools to separate seeds from native plants that will later be planted to keep the park free from invasive plants. Volunteers wore gloves and used sieves to separate the seeds that could later be dried and planted. The volunteers also helped to package and label Joe Pye Weed seeds, that will later be distributed and planted by others.
