On Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, five AYLUS volunteers – Junlin Yu, Emma Ding, Meixin Ding, Summer Lu, and Brian Zhang – aided students with homework at the Great Neck Station Library. They answered any questions about what was given to them so that they could help everyone to the best of their ability.
Junlin helped a 4th grader with math, specifically, long multiplication, ensuring that he understood everything. Emma worked with a student and helped her with both social studies and math. Meixin read to a student in order to improve their English skills. Summer helped a 7th grader with algebra. Lastly, Brian worked with another 7th grader to complete their science homework. Today’s session was highly productive, and with the volunteers’ guidance, the children successfully completed their work.
