On November 8th, AYLUS members volunteered at the Bessemer Health Fair. Volunteers took blood pressure for community members, helped educate people on Narcan kits, and listened to a talk about the importance of blood pressure and general health. It was a great event to get more involved with our Birmingham community and learn more about public health.
