On November 4, 2025, it is a no-school day. Two of the Greater Triangle members volunteer at our local Food Bank. Today, their task is sorting sweet potatoes for the under-resourced community.
From time to time, the food bank received large donations from local farmers and markets. We need to visually inspect every sweet potato to ensure food security, and then pack the safe ones into family-sized portions. Over the course of three hours, we were able to provide 8,400 pounds, which is approximately 7,000 meals for those in need.
