June 8, 2024 – Carbon Tracking for a Local Restaurant Group

Over a two-week period, volunteers collaborated with a family-owned restaurant group to calculate its overall emissions footprint. They analyzed kitchen energy use, supplier deliveries, and refrigeration efficiency. The results helped the group identify wasteful practices and transition to more energy-efficient equipment. As a result, the restaurants reduced their overall energy costs and achieved measurable sustainability progress
