AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 65th (10/30/25)

Today, October 30th, Great Neck AYLUS had another tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library from 6-7 PM. Though it was rainy, five volunteers took time out of their day to help elementary and middle school students with various assignments.

Today was a perfect day where every student had a tutor. Summer helped with checking simple homework for math and helped with social studies; an assignment about Afghanistan and Iraq. Brian helped with many different subjects such as French, math, science, and social studies. Junlin helped with English vocab—like synonyms, antonyms, and fill in the blanks— and area of triangles. Grace helped with many different algebra equations around absolute value. Erika also helped with math with a different student. They worked on math about factoring. Overall today was not only fun, but also a productive day.
