On October 28th, 2025, Great Neck AYLUS held a volunteer tutoring event at the Great Neck Library from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. During this event, our volunteers helped several students with their homework and answered their questions. Summer helped with math problems and English vocabulary, patiently explaining difficult concepts to help students better understand their homework . Catherine focused on 8th-grade math, guiding students step-by-step through their practice problems. Brian also offered in math, while Meixin helped students with math homework . Throughout the session, both the volunteers and the students enjoyed a productive and pleasant time together. The event not only strengthened students’ academic confidence but also built meaningful connections between volunteers and learners.
