On Oct. 26 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local senior center.
Members were spliced into 2 teams, one for the piano performance at the library, one for the ice cream parlor.
At the library, several seniors were waiting there before members arrival, piano music is their favorite weekly program. Members started with some well-loved songs, then moved to some romantic pieces, and wrapped up with lively jazz melodies that had everyone tapping their feet. Meanwhile, in the ice cream parlor, members served seniors and guests their their sweet treat, chatting with the seniors.
The joy shining on the seniors’ faces filled the members’ hearts with warmth, reminding them how small acts of kindness can bring great happiness.
