Demonstrating their continued commitment to supporting local families, the Aylus Morris Branch recently partnered with Help4All to organize a Winter Coat Drive for the community. As temperatures begin to drop, the branch recognized the growing need for warm clothing among families facing financial hardship and stepped up to make a meaningful difference.
Throughout the collection period, Aylus members encouraged friends, classmates, and neighbors to contribute gently used or new winter coats. Their collective effort led to an impressive total of 51 coats gathered for donation. Ranging from children’s sizes to adult outerwear, each coat represented a symbol of warmth, care, and generosity.
Before the distribution, members took the extra step to clean, organize, and neatly pack every coat to ensure it was ready for immediate use. On October 26th at 3:00 PM, the Morris Branch volunteers personally delivered all donations to the Help4All distribution site. The experience allowed participants to witness firsthand the impact of their teamwork and generosity, reinforcing the importance of community engagement and empathy.
This Winter Coat Drive exemplifies the mission of the Aylus Morris Branch—to empower youth through service and leadership while fostering kindness within the community. By partnering with organizations such as Help4All, the branch continues to inspire young volunteers to take initiative and support meaningful causes. Each coat collected not only provides physical warmth but also spreads a message of hope and compassion during the colder months.
