This Sunday marked the 15th session of our free volunteer basketball program. Despite the cool autumn breeze, families gathered with great enthusiasm. Kids of all ages participated in the morning training, showing noticeable progress in ball control, passing, and teamwork.
From 9:00 to 10:00, volunteer coaches led warm-up exercises and skill drills, focusing on dribbling and shooting fundamentals. From 10:00 to 11:00, older players joined exciting scrimmage games, while younger children played together nearby and enjoyed the sunny park environment.
Parents and volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to make every session successful — from preparing basketball equipment to coordinating safety and snacks. Many parents also helped guide younger players and maintain order during the event, ensuring a friendly and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
Everyone’s dedication continues to build a strong sense of community, teamwork, and joy through basketball.
