On Saturday October 4th, 2025, from 9 am to 12pm, members of the AYLUS Roslyn Branch volunteered at NOSH Delivers!, a nonprofit organization that provides free meals to local families in need.
When we arrived, the friendly staff greeted us and gave us instructions for the day. We started off by packing bread, and then were sent to check the expiration date on baby food and products. After that, we stocked the shelves, while also organizing it, so it looked neat. We then unpacked many boxes of beverages and sorted through them, making sure they were clean, and sealed. We had to clean many of the cans, and this was because some of the cans leaked. After that, we collapsed the boxes, and threw them out.
