Newtown AYLUS Participates in Autism Car Show Cleanup and Breakdown On 9/27/25

On September 27, 2025, Newtown AYLUS members volunteered at the Autism Car Show by assisting with cleanup and event breakdown. We collected trash, cleaned up around the tents, and carefully packed up materials. Everything was loaded onto a truck so the venue could be cleared out efficiently.

This event was meaningful to us as students because it gave us the opportunity to support an event that raised awareness for autism. We were able to contribute to the community by handling the behind-the-scenes tasks that make events like these possible. It also taught us responsibility, since our work ensured the venue was returned to its original condition.

On a larger scale, this type of volunteer work supports events that bring communities together for important causes. By helping out, we promoted autism awareness and supported families who rely on these events for connection and advocacy. Our contribution may have been small, but it played a role in strengthening community bonds and supporting inclusivity.

Volunteers: Eric Chen(Event Leader) and Aaron Temmer. Each volunteer contributed 2 Hours and 15 minutes.
