Today, five members of the AYLUS RC Classic Music Band gathered to rehearse a new piece — Ave Maria. This composition is a slow and melodious work, posing quite a challenge for both flute and violin players. Nevertheless, everyone was excited to try out this new repertoire.
During the first hour or so, the musicians focused on becoming familiar with their parts through individual practice. Toward the end, we attempted to play together as an ensemble. This marks the third new piece we have rehearsed this year, and it has quickly become a favorite among the group.
Each participant contributed three hours of rehearsal time today. Their names are:
