On September 20, 2025, we volunteered at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a Christian nonprofit dedicated to ending world hunger. The session began at 7:15 PM, with volunteers gathering to pack MannaPack Rice—a specially designed meal that contains rice, soy, vegetables, and essential vitamins to combat malnutrition.
Each volunteer took on a role in the process—labeling, filling, sealing, or moving boxes in the warehouse—with clear instructions provided at the start. Music played in the background, keeping the energy high, and teams engaged in friendly competition to see who could pack the most boxes. Our group worked together at Table 4, quickly finding a rhythm and cheering each other on.
After about an hour and 45 minutes of packing, we helped with cleanup. By the end of the evening, our team had packed 107 boxes, totaling 23,112 meals—enough to feed 63 children for an entire year.
The experience was both impactful and enjoyable, blending teamwork, service, and a shared commitment to fighting global hunger.
