Newtown AYLUS Members Assist at Doylestown Hospital on 9/10

On September 10th, Newtown AYLUS members Eric Chen and Aaron volunteered at Doylestown Hospital, dedicating their time to patient support tasks. Their duties included transporting patients throughout the facility and assisting with the discharge process, ensuring that patients could leave the hospital in a safe and orderly manner. Each of these roles required patience, communication, and reliability—skills that are crucial in both healthcare and community service.

Eric and Aaron each dedicated 3 hours to help transport patients all around the hospital. These experiences not only gave them an inside look into hospital operations but also highlighted the importance of volunteerism in easing the workload of healthcare professionals. Their commitment demonstrated how students can make a positive impact on their local community while learning lessons about empathy, service, and responsibility. Through these efforts, Newtown AYLUS continues to strengthen its mission of contributing to society in meaningful ways.

Volunteers: Eric Chen(Event Leader) and Aaron Temmer. Everyone did 3 hours of volunteer work.
