Newtown AYLUS Volunteers at Doylestown Hospital on 8/13

On August 13th, Newtown AYLUS members Eric Chen and Aaron volunteered at Doylestown Hospital to support patient care services. Their main responsibilities included assisting patients during discharge and providing transport throughout the hospital. This work was essential in ensuring that patients could safely and comfortably move between departments or leave the facility after treatment.

By working side by side with hospital staff, Eric and Aaron developed a deeper understanding of how every small task contributes to the larger goal of keeping hospital operations running smoothly. Their role not only required attentiveness and responsibility but also interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and families. Through this experience, they both gained a stronger appreciation for the importance of teamwork in healthcare settings.

Volunteers: Eric Chen(Event Leader) and Aaron Temmer. Everyone did 3 hours of volunteer work.
