In preparation for the upcoming dragon boat race on October 4th, the three of us—Siwei, Steven (He), and Zachery—held a one-hour training session from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on August 30th at the lake near 13D in Corona, New York.
During the practice, we worked with clear roles and strong coordination. We repeatedly refined our paddling motions and rhythm, relying on commands and timing to stay perfectly synchronized. As the strokes carried us forward, we experienced both the strength and speed of dragon boating, as well as the importance of unity and teamwork.
This training not only strengthened our sense of coordination but also boosted our confidence for the upcoming competition. We all felt that the session was highly effective, laying a solid foundation for further preparation and fueling our excitement for the official race on October 4th.
