Basking Ridge Branch worked with the other AYLUS Branch at Feeding Hands (11 Technology dr, Warren, NJ) Members had assisted by telling shoppers the limit of food they could get for each type of food, and had asked if they would like to use the prayer room, and if they did, members would push the grocery cart near the exit to help make sure there wouldn’t be a traffic jam. Additionally, the members had also helped give out backpacks to shoppers that had needed them, and had also given cable extenders to the shoppers. Then, members had helped marked down how many backpacks were taken, and assisted by loading up shoppers cars with what they had gotten that day. Finally members had returned the carts to the enterence of the food shelter. Today members assisted about 80 shoppers.
