West Essex AYLUS members are working to provide a younger audience with opportunities to interact with the game of Quizbowl. Quizbowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Through an introductory session at the Livingston Public Library, members introduced the structure of the game as well as provided advice and resources for individual work. Then, students played engaging scrimmage games in a fun and supportive environment where they could develop confidence in their academic abilities and find joy in learning beyond the classroom.
