On August 23 and 24, the AYLUS Birmingham Branch volunteered at Birmingham’s 27th annual Sidewalk Film Festival, a local film screening event featuring a variety of programs across the city. Members put signs up around the building, gave directions, ushered attendees into lines for film showings based on their ticket, and tallied the total number of viewers for each film. They also cleaned the theater between showings and gave guests the opportunity to rate each film.
