On the morning of August 10, 2025, AYLUS volunteers gathered at the Lexington County clubhouse for a crochet event for the Loops For Love project. Many volunteers had attended previous events, so they got straight to work right away. Other volunteers were new to the Loops For Love event or crocheting itself, so other AYLUS volunteers taught them the basics of how to crochet a hat. As the event went on, the newer volunteers were able to get the hang of the process, allowing them to make progress on their crochet hats. Some of the other volunteers also managed to finish their hats, allowing them to start a new one with the remaining time in the event. Overall, this event was a great success!
