Throughout July, AYLUS San Clemente members have donated the recyclable bottles collected from their households to local recycling centers. The bottles are put in trash bags and volunteers go on their own any day in July to sort the bottles by material at the recycling center and receive money in return. A total of $45.92 is being saved to be donated to the nearest Nature Reserve. This means our members are helping our planet by preventing plastic and other harmful materials from entering landfills. Our members are also helping nature by supporting financially organizations that care for the nature around our city. Thank you to all members who participated!
