Newtown AYLUS Volunteers at FABLAB Summer Camp on July 31,2025

On Thursday, 7/31/2025, four members of the AYLUS Newtown Branch volunteered at FABLAB in One Ivybrook Blvd Suite 190, Warminster, PA 18974, USA from 11:45 AM to 4:00 PM. The FABLAB is an organization dedicated to promoting and nurturing interest in STEM, especially among children with a strong passion for it, through engaging, interactive activities that make learning enjoyable.

The volunteers split into two groups to guide children through the process of making stop-motion animations and experimenting with 3D printing. Working closely with the children led to meaningful relationships being developed. Throughout the event, members actively led the children in games and physical activities. By the end of the event, volunteers assisted in cleaning up the area, ensuring a tidy environment for the following day. Volunteers enjoyed working with the children and participating in the activities.

Members who participated include Albert Chen (Event Leader), Randall Zhang, Daniel Tang and Ryan He, all earned 4.25 hours.
