On July 26th, 2025, the AYLUS Orlando branch organized and carried out a car wash at 7-Eleven (901 Lockwood Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765) from 10am-4pm. This fundraising event was done in order to fully match the monetary requirements necessary to ship 3000 books raised for Tito Peter’s Free Public Library internationally.
The participants did the following:
- Set up tent, bucket, connect hose to water source, soap water, etc.
- Primed water with car wash soap solution, shower car with water, soaped down car, rinsed, detailed car and dried.
- Communicated with customers; inquiring about any specific concerns or areas needing focus to clean and made conversation with customers to enhance experience.
The following members participated in the car wash fundraising volunteer activity, 6 hours for following each person: Jason Wang, Sean Zheng, Victor Fang, Simon Gong, Kyle Kang, and Aditya Dronadula.
