AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at ALFC Generosity Center on 07/26/2025

On July 26, 2025, dedicated youth volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch gathered once again at the ALFC Generosity Center in Rancho Cucamonga to take part in a meaningful day of community service. Motivated by their shared desire to give back, these young individuals arrived bright and early, ready to lend their time and energy to a cause greater than themselves. Each volunteer contributed 5.5 hours of service, working from 7:20 AM to 1:00 PM with focus and determination.

Throughout the morning, volunteers worked side by side to support the food distribution efforts at the center. Tasks included sorting a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables, packing canned goods, and assembling organized food bundles to be delivered to families experiencing food insecurity. These packages would later provide critical nourishment to individuals and households who may be struggling to put balanced meals on the table.

The work demanded attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork, and the volunteers rose to the occasion. In addition to supporting their local community, they also gained hands-on experience with food logistics and nonprofit operations. This opportunity helped build their sense of empathy, responsibility, and awareness of the challenges many families face.
