On July 22, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local food bank.
Members checked in on the computer at the front before making their way to their separate stations. In the fresh produce area, members cleaned, checked, and packed all veggies/fruits before putting them in their baskets to be bagged. Each produce bag included all sorts of produce so that families would get all the nutrients they needed. In the food boxing area, members put veggies, 3 breads, and 2 desserts in each box before taking them outside for clients. They also included some drinks since there was an abundance that day. When members noticed there were a lot of boxes outside, they took the initiative to go help and break them down. At closing time, members helped clean up by putting all the carts back and wiping down floors.
