On July 15, 2025, Taige and Michael volunteered at Cary Learning Academy, providing fun and creative activities to enhance their summer camp experience.
The teacher set up some outdoor and indoor activities in the schedule, but they had to shift the outdoor activities indoors because of hot weather, ensuring children’s comfort. After serving the campers delicious lunch, our volunteers guided children in creating themed crafts. Volunteers provided one-on-one support to a few younger children who needed extra assistance with crafts. Children displayed excitement and engagement throughout the activities. By the end of the craft session, they all have personalized souvenirs to take home.
The weather was annoying, but our volunteers were incredibly rewarding to see kids light up when they finished their craft.
