On Thursday, June 27th, three competitive swimmers and volunteers from AYLUS Pearland – Yurong Qiu, Yushan Qiu, and Jordana Zhao taught swimming lessons to community kids. This is the last lesson in a 3-week-long series
The lesson started off with a kicking races and relays between the kids. Afterwards, Jordana worked with Tyler and Lawrence, working on their streamline under-waters and floating on their backs for backstroke. Yurong and Yushan worked with Darren, Emma, and Jasper on adding streamline under-waters into their freestyle.
To end off the lesson, they played Marco polo, raced each other, and participated in relays.
