Throughout May, AYLUS San Clemente members have donated the recyclable bottles collected from their households to local recycling centers. The bottles are collected in trash bags and volunteers go on their own any day in May to sort the bottles at the recycling center by material and receive money in return. The total of $39.18 is being saved to be donated to the nearest Nature Reserve. This means our members are helping our planet by preventing plastic and other harmful materials from entering landfills. Our members are also helping nature by supporting financially organizations that care for the nature around our city.
