On May 15, 2025, the AYLUS Pearland Branch, in collaboration with the Pearland Chinese Association, successfully organized the 9th Annual College Forum. The event aimed to support Pearland students in guiding their college application process.
Organizers and Partnership: The forum was hosted by Derek Zhu, who partnered with the Pearland Chinese Association to handpick students with diverse academic backgrounds and extensive experiences in extracurricular career-oriented involvements. This partnership ensured a comprehensive session on crafting strong college
applications.
Event Structure: The forum was a hybrid of Q&A between historically popular stimulus questions and targeted questions from the present audience at the library and on zoom.
Overall, the forum was a success, including comprehensive answers to questions and avid audience participation.
