Great Neck Branch helped on therapeutic ice-skating program at the Andrew Stergiopoulos rink
On Sunday, May 4th, from 12:00 – 3:30 pm, the Great Neck Branch gathered together to support and help the therapeutic ice-skating programat the Andrew Stergiopoulous rink.
We helped new skaters perform at their annual ice skating show. After all the efforts that we put in together they did very well in the show. We enthusiastically cheered for each performer and helped these kids maintain their balance as they went onto the ice. Through the whole volunteering process, we watched fantastic skating performances and saw new skaters’ improvement. It offered us precious experiences and we also felt proud of these skaters.
