On April 27th, AYLUS Houston members volunteered at The Ballard House, a home that provides temporary housing for patients and their families receiving treatment in the Katy area. During our visit, volunteers assisted with essential cleaning tasks around the house, including tidying up the kitchen and organizing shared spaces to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
To work more efficiently, we divided into small groups, each tackling different areas of the facility. Through teamwork and dedication, we were able to complete all our tasks in a timely and thorough manner. This experience gave us a meaningful opportunity to support individuals and families going through difficult times by helping to create a comforting and well-maintained living space.
We are proud of our volunteers for their hard work and are grateful to The Ballard House for allowing us to contribute to their mission of care and compassion. AYLUS Houston remains committed to serving the community and looks forward to more opportunities to bring comfort and support to those in need.
