Activity & Impact
On Friday, April 18, 2025, three members of the AYLUS North Hollywood branch volunteered at the Khalsa Food Pantry in Laurel Canyon from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Volunteers assisted with preparing food, setting up distribution areas, handing out food to families, and assisted with closing down at the end of the event.
Khalsa Food Pantry was one of the few pantries that remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic, serving approximately 900 families per week. They played a vital role in serving the North Hollywood community during the pandemic.
