On Saturday, April 12th, from 3:00-5:00 pm, two Greater Triangle volunteers helped as teacher assistants at the Cary Learning Academy.
All volunteers are invaluable in building a great learning environment. We directed the students to the suitable class, helped the teacher set up the classroom as needed, and cleaned up all the mess after class. We also put much effort into supervising students during classroom activities, ensuring they remained focused and engaged. We want to help those young kids improve their academics and social skills and build confidence. Our volunteers have done a great job of helping students and teachers this Saturday afternoon at CLA.
