On April 17, 2025, AYLUS Auburn Branch volunteered at the Aurburn High School World’s Fair. On this day, Auburn High School transformed into a vibrant tapestry of cultures, colors, and traditions with students and their families representing 23 countries. Our group assisted at two booths, to showcase Japanese and Chinese culture, by sharing Japanese tea, displaying Japan manga and origami, tasting Chinese food, and writing Chinese characters and drawing zodiac signs on glass pebbles to give away as free gifts. During the culture show, our AYLUS member, Austin played the Chinese piano piece ‘Liuyang River’ and received a huge round of applause. It was a joyful experience filled with sharing, respect, love, and a spirit of unity.
