AYLUS Syosset Volunteers at CP Nassau Home 4/12/25

On Saturday, April 12th, Syosset AYLUS went to a cerebral palsy home at Levittown. Volunteers started out with the residents with various arts and crafts, including painting, coloring sheets, and creating wind chimes. They helped with guiding the residents with holding the art utensils, as cerebral palsy often affects physical function. Afterwards, everyone cleaned up to start baking cupcakes from scratch. Volunteers measured and poured all the ingredients, while letting all be engaged with mixing the ingredients together and putting the batter into the muffin tin. While the cupcakes were in the oven, everyone had fun while playing games such as bingo and Uno. All volunteers and residents had a great time and shared a laugh with one another.
