On March 23rd, from 1:30 to 4:30, AYLUS Dix Hills volunteers helped at the Long Island Chinese School located at SUNY Old Westbury.
Volunteers spent three hours watching over their designated classes. In the classrooms the teachers taught students Chinese stories, watched movies and presented projects. In the back each volunteer aided in the work, by wiping boards, tutoring students and watching the class..
Thanks to the efforts of AYLUS volunteers they were able to make learning at the Long Island Chinese School a more fun and interactive place to learn.
