On March 23rd, 2025, members of the AYLUS Farmington branch volunteered at the Farmington Public Library’s Maker Fair, assisting in various hands-on activities and ensuring smooth event operations.
They took on different roles throughout the fair, helping run activity booths such as Popsicle Stick Flashlight Making, DNA Friendship Bracelets, and Sun Print Creation. Members guided participants through each craft, provided instructions, and kept the workspaces organized. At the Glowforge station, Tech Take-Apart booth, and Magic Pufferfish activity, they maintained order, managed lines, and helped patrons navigate their projects.
Beyond activity stations, they served as Vendor Runners and Presenter Assistants, facilitating communication between vendors, presenters, and the library staff to keep the event running smoothly. At the Photo Booth and Community Mural station, they ensured organization, assisted patrons, and maintained a welcoming environment.
Through their efforts, members contributed to an engaging and well-organized Maker Fair, fostering creativity and hands-on learning for the community.
